		<description><![CDATA[Comparing Ghana to Chile, it has become apparent that agricultural land reform offers the breakthrough opportunity for Ghana. The rich agricultural land in Ghana could be farmed so much more productively, even with the difficulties in getting water at certain times of year. This could produce export wealth, as it does for Chile. Chile does not have the &quot;mega-farms&quot; of the US Midwest and Great Plains, but it does have well-trained farmers with large-enough plots of land to support some mechanization. For me, it is heart-breaking to travel around Ghana and see the haphazard farm land use and cultivation.]]></description>
